Lovely cosy warm cottage,fabulous views and many walks. A perfect relaxing Christmas made all the more special for the warm welcome. Also enjoyed by Scooby, Jake and Georgie my three collies who walked the old railway line every day.

As usual the welcome was great especially the lovely fire Trev made for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the war weekend - it was like being in a time warp - and will have to repeat the experience because we didn't see it all. Hope to see you in the spring.

what a great time we have had, summer 2007 was a total holiday wash out for so many people, but this just made the holiday more special and exciting, the atmosphere was intense and even more beautiful. Have already booked for 2008. Whatever the weather forecast it doesn't matter.

We visited you again for the 12th time this Feb 07 for Daniel's 12th birthday. We were delighted to stay in Seran Gypsy (our upside down cottage), and what a fantastic time we had. It was lovely to see Ena and Trevor, and Daniel was delighted to play with Cassie and Susie. It always feels like home from home. We tried the new takeway service from the village which was not only excellent value for money but was delivered to the cottage on time and piping hot, the curries and chilli were delicious and we will certainly be using this service again. We can't wait until our next visit and are already missing the beautiful tranquility of the farm. Hope to see you very soon. Louise, Andrew and Daniel Bennett

About 50 years ago I had the pleasure of getting to know twin brothers Trevor and Malcolm Dent and of course their parents, when I was in the Boy Scout Movement.I had invited them to stay at my home but about that time petrol was put on ration and their parents wrote to say that it would be unfair to use my ration at that time.I've been back to Cravengarth a couple of times since then,once in the 1960s when I stayed overnight in a barn when doing the Lyke Wake Walk and again in 1974/5 with my two young sons but there was no one at home that time.Although I have passed through Rosedale on a number of ocassions since, I have never ventured back to Cravengarth again.A great pity really because I still have happy memories of those brief visits and the impromptu cricket matches with some of the local lads. Happy Days.

We have just had another wonderful week’s holiday (28 Feb to 6th March) at Craven Garth, in the snow this time (9/10 inches of Real Snow!!!). No roads blocked there as happens in Lincolnshire when we get about an inch of snow!! Our Granddaughter, Bethany was able to have snowball fights with Grandad, build snowmen, sledge, ride a pony bareback and fall off in the snow. Ask her where she wants to go on holiday and it’s always “the farm with Suzie and Bob”. We keep coming back and will continue to do so, thank you Ena and Trevor for being the most wonderful hosts and smashing people.

We had a wonderful time at Craven Garth Farm Cottages, and would recommend anyone who wants a peaceful holiday in lovely surroundings to pay them a visit.Ena and Trev are the BEST and helped to make our holiday a very memmorable one.
